Most Americans are probably aware of the large ice storm that came through Oklahoma, Kansas, Iowa and other states. It hit us pretty hard last Tuesday, and I just got out and took some pictures. Although the ice can wreak havoc (a number of confirmed deaths in Oklahoma, for example), it can after-the-fact be very beautiful to photograph.
Beautiful photos, Moe! It never ceases to amaze me what nature can do. If I hadn’t been down sick last week, I would have broken out more than the point-and-shoot for photographs. The world was so beautiful Wednesday morning.
Thanks for all the comments! It was pretty fun to photograph these, considering that most of the time it’s too cold and blustery to really go out. It was clear the day after the storm, making for some fun winter photography.
