In Davenport we have largely been spared (relatively speaking), but, then again, we’ve already flooded a number of times this year.
In any event, here in the Quad Cities, most of us have been simply inconvenienced by a few road closings. One proprietor had a novel idea for bringing the business down despite the flood.

Our fields were starting to dry out just a bit but it rained again last night. I feel so sorry for the farmers!
